We recently built a home and hired Hamilton View Contracting to oversee this project. In a nutshell, Jennifer Hamilton was instrumental in building our Dream Home. Prior to building our home, we had the opportunity to see two of Jennifer’s former projects and were really impressed by the workmanship of the final product. In comparing some other building projects that we had seen to Jennifer’s work, we were convinced that we wanted Jennifer to build our home.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jen Hamilton for the past 2 years on several project in and around our home. In the interior we have designed an amazing wood feature wall, glass sauna and spa bathroom. I appreciate and love Jen's attention to detail and creativity when she looks at a space. Jen has introduced us to local artists ranging from sculptors, painters and concrete artists. She has a vast knowledge of different trades and their skills and assets for our particular home. Jen notices everything; lighting, fixtures and even choices in electrical outlets. All of these elements contribute to a well thought out space that you feel is tailored to your home.
We have also worked on an outdoor space with Jen including pool, kitchen, and patios. She is always available to give her input on tile, furnishings, structural elements and colours. She is always just a text away. Working with Jen is truly "working" with her. She listens to us and always has creative ideas for any design challenge. We recently had a renovation project completed by Hamilton View Contracting and we are so happy with the results! We hired Jen and her crew based on a recommendation from our friends who had their beautiful new home built by Hamilton View Contracting.
We had a vision, but Jen really brought it into focus for us with her creativity and sense of design. She spent many hours with us on the design and décor, before and during the renovation, taking the stress out of all the decision making.
Communication was ongoing throughout the project and any questions or concerns were efficiently addressed. The entire project went much smoother than we could have imagined and was completed within budget and timeframe.

Jen and Doug…amazing!!
We asked them to turn our dark, extremely dated “BC Box” into a modern Farmhouse dream. The pictures say it all. Jen had a vision, formulated a plan, conferred with Doug and together with their team, created a masterpiece….within our budget! They were all awesome!! Jen helped us with design and decor decisions, always communicated with us and kept the project fun, yet professional. We highly recommend them to anyone.

A few years ago I bought a sadly neglected Foursquare house that was built in 1901. The foundation was failing and the interior was in bad shape. To say that this renovation was a challenge understates the difficulty of this project. Initially I started with another local contractor who, as it turned out, did not have the experience or expertise to execute the build. Hamilton View Contracting, recommended by 925R Design, came to my rescue. I have built and renovated many projects over the years, both residential and commercial. Jen Hamilton and her team were fantastic to work with, proficient and on task. The quality of workmanship was excellent. I could not be happier with the outcome and highly recommend this contractor. We have recently completed a new home project with Jen from Hamilton View Contracting.
Having extensive experience in new home and commercial construction projects, we can attest that our new home exceeded all expectations. It was superior compared to our previous builds.
Critical items like budget and timelines were managed very effectively. We worked very closely with Jen at the outset to ensure our dream home would be a reality. Working within our budget, Jen did an amazing job from start to finish.
One of the differentiators was Jen’s select team of professional contractors and trades. Under the watchful eye of her lead site prime Doug Tacoma, the trades completed their work while adhering to a high standard set by Jen and Doug. Specifically, the trades had an appreciation for our project in that they treated our home like their own which is evident in the superior craftsmanship of our new home.
We have built new homes with large developers and small builders and really appreciated the passion the Jen put into our new home. Previous builders have been focused on the project with little concern for the details that make a house a home. We have seen the same in commercial projects where the builder is less of a priority once the contract has been awarded. From the beginning, Jen took the time to understand the key themes and elements we wanted in a new home and made numerous recommendations throughout the build process that made a dramatic improvement to the final project.
Given the complexity of COVID-19, Jen did an amazing job of keeping our project on time and on budget, while keeping her tradespeople and ultimately our home safe.
In closing, we are very pleased with our new home and would highly recommend Jen and Hamilton View Contracting for anyone looking to build a new home.

We employed Hamilton View contracting to undertake a major addition and whole house renovation of our 1960's midcentury modern home.
Hamilton View Contracting worked on the initial design concept to make sure all our needs were being met by the new design; we were very impressed with the knowledge and foresight Jen contributed to our plans.
